Baby in Mind is an organisation that puts parents and babies at the centre of everything we do. We are committed to ensuring that babies and families enjoy high standards of quality and safety in the services we offer.

As part of this commitment to you, we have a number of ways you can give us feedback about your experiences with our program. Your feedback allows us to continually improve and develop our organisation and the standards of our work. It also gives us a chance to put things right if you have had a negative experience.

Whether you are a parent, a community member or another professional we welcome all of your feedback – both positive and negative.

We also warmly welcome feedback from anyone in Australia who is training to deliver Infant Massage or parent-infant interaction programs in their hospitals, centres, organisations, communities and neighbourhoods.

This page explains how you can give different sorts of feedback to us.

Positive Feedback 

We welcome and deeply appreciate the time you take to tell us about any positive experience that you have had learning infant massage. This is not just to make us feel good! We actually learn a lot from your positive feedback: about what works and about what we should keep doing.

Feedback and Complaints from Parents and Health Professionals 

If you are a parent, health professional or community member who has had a negative experience with an infant massage instructor, we would also deeply appreciate your feedback.

Depending on your experience, you may want to make a formal complaint or to provide more general feedback that we can learn from.

To do this, you will need a copy of our Guide to Making a Complaint, and (if you are lodging a formal complaint) a copy of our Complaints Form. These can be downloaded by clicking on the links, or you can contact us to request a copy be emailed or posted to you.

Feedback and Complaints from Student Infant Massage Instructors 

If you are training to be an infant massage instructor with IAIM, your feedback is extremey important to us to help improve the quality and standards of our training. Please review your detailed Student Handbook for information on how to give us your feedback or to make a complaint. If you would like another copy of your Handbook sent to you, please don’t hesitate to contact us.

Other feedback and complaints 

We sometimes get calls from people with concerns about infant massage information or training from other organisations. If this applies to you we recommend, firstly, contacting the organisation directly and raising your concerns with them in writing. If they are unable to resolve your concern or complaint, please let us know as we may be able to refer you to the correct authority to investigate your concern or complaint.
