Important notice about changes to our course fees and payments.
Baby in Mind wishes to advise our community partners and potential students of some changes to the fees and payment options for the nationally accredited course in Cue-Based Infant Massage and Parent-Infant Relationship Education.
Baby in Mind is the only organisation in the world to provide government-accredited training in infant massage education. We have been providing this training since 1994 and, under the auspice of the Australian Institute of Social Relations (a division of Relationships Australia SA), this course has been nationally accredited since 2011.
In 2016, the course was due for re-accreditation with the Australian government. Although there is no legal requirement infant massage courses to be accredited, Baby in Mind believes that the process of accreditation is not only important in assuring quality to our students, but that parents and babies should have access to practitioners who have completed evidence-based, industry-endorsed, nationally recognised training.
Due to changes in government fees and procedures, the process of re-accreditation in 2016 was substantially more expensive and complex than our initial accreditation in 2011.
As a result, Baby in Mind has been forced to introduce a modest increase in our course fees for the first time in five years. This fee increase will come in to effect on 1 April 2017. This will ensure that the organisation can continue to operate and provide high-quality training to health workers, teachers and the community into the future.
However, at the same time as increasing the course fees, a number of other measures will help ensure that this course remains accessible to as many people as possible:
Sunset option for enrolments received by 31 March 2017:
We will honour the existing course fees for any enrolment submitted no later than 31 March 2017.
To take up this Sunset option, submit your enrolment before 31 March 2017.
Payment Plans Now Available:
Payment plans are now available for all new enrolments – both on the existing course fee structure, as well as the new fees after 1 April 2017.

Still better value for money:
The new fees will be accompanied by a new package of inclusions. This package will provide fantastic value for you, as the only nationally accredited infant massage training program available in Australia, at a cost that is still less expensive than packages with fewer inclusions in lower-quality ‘hobby” (non-vocational) infant massage courses.
We are able to offer this value thanks to the generous support of our sponsors and donors who will continue to subsidise a large potion of the fees.
