Julie has worked with mothers, babies, and families for over 30years. She is a Certified Infant Massage Instructor (CIMI), Certified Midwife (CM), International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC), Child Birth Educator, Child and Family Health Nurse (CFHN), and Registered Nurse (RN).
She believes in, and has seen the benefits for mothers, partners, carers, and babies that a loving touch brings to the individuals and the family from the very first interaction at birth to the tender knowing touch between parent and adult child.
First Touch Infant Massage can help parents and carers recognise how their babies interact and communicate from birth with them and those around them.
First Touch Infant Massage will help parents and carers to find quality mindful time in their busy lives to slow down, connect, and meaningfully engage with their baby.
These skills of connectedness and engagement will progress with the parent and carer throughout the baby’s development from toddler, child, teenager, and into adulthood.
